| Ipswich
Branch was established in 1945 and currently has 4 life members and 85
Financial Members. Ipswich is in close proximity to RAAF Base Amberley and
enjoys a good relationship with personnel on the Base. The Branch is supportive of Air Force Cadets of 225 and 208 Sqdns. We also hold an annual fund raising raffle in association with the 'Blackhanders' reunion held at RAAF Amberley Sergeant's Mess in the month of October. The money is used for two flying scholarships that are awarded to the Air Force Cadet Squadrons in the Ipswich area. The Branch meets at the North Ipswich RSL Services Club on the second Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm and visitors are very welcome. |
