Karri Lodge is a low-care facility, with ageing-in-place, offering 61 beds. 20 of these beds offer separated living and bedroom areas with kitchenette facilities. The facility consists of 5 wings,  one of which is a 10 bed dementia specific unit. Meals are served in the main dining room where residents have the chance to socialise with other residents.

All rooms have their own ensuite, standard hospital bed, telephone facility and 24hr personal duress alarm pendant. Each wing has its’ own kitchenette and lounge area where residents can sit with visitors and enjoy a cup of tea and a chat.

The lodge has an extensive activities program available for all residents to participate as desired including craft, cooking, quiz times and exercise groups to name a few. We have a wonderful group of volunteers from the retirement village who run weekly bingo and happy hour sessions. Regular meetings are held every 6 weeks giving residents and relatives a chance to discuss any issues that may arise, and to inform any changes that may have taken place.
