Models

The Museum houses many models, ranging from 1/72 scale models built from plastic kits to the much larger custom-made versions that you will see overhead as you walk around the displays.

Of the models shown here, the Commonwealth Boomerang represents a specific RAAF aircraft, "Home James". The P-40 Kittyhawk bears the insignia of the American Volunteer Group operating in China, known popularly as the "Flying Tigers". The Gloster Gladiator represents aircraft K6142, of 72 Squadron RAF.
