WA Aviation History
The RAAFAWA Aviation Museum preserves and displays manyelements of the history of aviation in Western Australia, not
only the aircraft but also the people and events that led us to
where we are today.
This section of the museum web site is where we pay tribute
History, of course, always has many layers, and as time goes
to all who contributed, and still contribute: not just the pilots
and enterpreneurs, but also from the guy who did the job
when "chocks away!" was called, to the engineers who continue
to make this state a focus for the aerospace industry.
by it is hoped to uncover more. Contributions by visitors are
welcomed, particularly if they can be verified from multiple
sources, and even better, supported by scanned photographs
that can be included here.
