A newspaper story in April 2011 implied this museum was under threat of closure. Please be assured that there is no plan to close the museum nor is such an action under consideration.

The Aviation Heritage Museum provides a unique historic perspective of civilian and military aviation through interesting displays and the expert knowledge of our many volunteer guides and restorers who give their time freely to the museum.

RAAFA intends to maintain its support for the museum and hopes the essential community assistance will also continue.

New volunteers and donations to carry on the work of the museum are always welcome.
