Denise Bowen was appointed as a Board Member in January 2023.
Her career has been diverse with four decades’ experience supporting the health and aged care sector as a nurse, charge nurse, midwife, health administrator and now as a solicitor with HBA Legal. As an experienced health practitioner, Denise has extensive knowledge in clinical governance as well as the issues and challenges facing the health sector.
Denise holds a Diploma of Nursing, Post Graduate Diploma in Midwifery, Masters and a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Administration, Certificate in Health Economics, Bachelor of Applied Science and a Juris Doctor, Graduate Diploma Family Dispute Resolution and is an NMAS accredited mediator.
