Michelle commenced the position of Chief Executive Officer – Air Force Association WA Limited, trading as RAAFA in July 2023.
Prior to joining RAAFA, Michelle was the CEO, St John Ambulance WA and previously the Assistant Commissioner, WA Police Force and had served in the WA Police Force for 34 years. Michelle is a versatile leader who excels at building relationships with individuals and organisations from diverse backgrounds.
In 2017, Michelle was awarded the 2017 Telstra Business Woman’s Award for her contributions to the Public Sector and Academia. In the 2021 Queen’s Birthday Honours, Michelle was honoured with an Australian Police Medal in recognition of her service and achievements within the WA Police Force.
Michelle’s current board positions include Commissioner – West Australia Football Commission Inc.; Chair – Western Australia Football Commission Integrity Committee; Non-Executive Director – Parkerville Children and Youth Care Inc.; Member – Criminology Advisory Board, Mudoch University. Michelle holds a Master of Leadership (Policing); a Graduate Diploma – Executive Leadership and a Graduate Certificate of Applied Management and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
