raafa Branches
Once you are a member of raafa you are welcome to join one of our Branches. raafa Branches epitomise camaraderie, compassion, and community and offer connection with others, sharing a common interest.
Our Branch network is responsible for checking-in on members and works alongside raafa to deliver a number of events, services, and programs for other members, veterans, servicing members, and their families. Our Branch network is continually evolving as we establish new Branches in line with member interests. Our current raafa Branches include:

Women of the air force branch (previously WRAAF)
Formed in April 1985 to foster camaraderie between women who had previously served in the WRAAF. The focus is very much on the welfare of members and connecting members with veterans’ services whenever needed.
Charitable purpose
raafa’s philanthropic division was created to continue the legacy of or founding members who in 1929 came together to maintain their comradeship and recreate the spirit of solidarity and values they experienced as members of the Australian Flying Corps (AFC). It represents camaraderie and selflessness and is where our sense of belonging and pride reside.
Undertaking a wide range of initiatives to support and assist a variety of causes to benefit the West Australian community. Our charitable activities include scholarships, and awards with a focus on veterans, public welfare, education, health, culture, and preserving raafa’s heritage.

raafa Clubs are at the heart of our community, providing a warm, welcoming place where you can meet, join groups, and make friendships. Whether you are looking to unwind over a cold beer, a barista coffee, or something more substantial, our dedicated and passionate hospitality professionals are here to help. Members and their guests can enjoy the comfort of raafa Clubs situated in Bull Creek, Meadow Springs, Merriwa, and Cambrai.
