RAAFA Acquires Perth Care and Companion Company to Extend Excellence in Care to All Australians

RAAFA WA has today announced the acquisition of Perth Care and Company Company (PCCC), broadening its care services to support all vulnerable Western Australians in need.

Established in 2019, PCCC has built an exceptional reputation in long day, overnight and live care for vulnerable members of the community across Perth. The company has over 130 team members, serving over 2,000 clients across the metropolitan area.

As part of the acquisition, PCCC’s services will form part of RAAFA’s Connect arm, which is designed in-home support division specialising in quality care for individuals with Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) and Veterans Home Care (VHC), as well as private services.

RAAFA Chief Executive Officer Michelle Fyfe said RAAFA’s acquisition of PCCC compliments and extends its existing services as an organisation, with a reputation built on excellence in care across aged care, retirement living, veteran services and in-home services.

“PCCC and RAAFA are a natural union built on a common purpose which is to deliver excellence in care. Through joining the RAAFA family, PCCC marks a new era for both businesses as we together look to deliver a holistic care solution in an industry leading model that serves society’s most vulnerable in need. Together, PCCC and RAAFA will help increase accessibility to Australians in need of care — including Australia’s growing ageing population,” said Fyfe.

PCCC’s acquisition coincides with the company’s five successful years in business, founded by two former nurses Julie Arnould and Carole Bain. As part of the acquisition, Arnould, will continue to lead the PCCC arm at RAAFA, while Bain has entered retirement.

“Over the past five years we have proudly built an amazing service delivering high quality care to clients in the Perth metropolitan. Last year, we reached a pivotal point in the PCCC’s growth and recognised that entering the next phase of our business we would need significant support,” said Director, Julie Arnould.

“With a dedication to pursuing excellence in care and demonstrated shared values, RAAFA was a natural choice to help us in this next phase of growth. With a shared desire to continue to look after our team and clients in the same vein as we have always done, we are well positioned to take our services to the next level as part of the RAAFA family,” said Arnould.

PCCC’s services include welcome home care, companionship care, impromptu care, sleepover support and live-in complete care and companionship.
