At raafa, our warm, compassionate team at Vivian Bullwinkel Lodge are here to support you through your new chapter which may feel overwhelming. We are passionate about getting to know you one-on-one as we welcome you to our friendly raafa community.
Vivian Bullwinkel Lodge is located in the coastal suburb of Merriwa within raafa’s Cambrai Village. We have 79 homely bedrooms within the lodge all with ensuite bathrooms and direct balcony/courtyard access. Whilst we are proud of our heritage, you do not need to be ex-service to live at raafa, our friendly team welcomes everyone.
Boasting uninterrupted views of surrounding suburbs and picturesque parklands, Vivian Bullwinkel Lodge has a relaxing, friendly atmosphere for you to live a meaningful life. Throughout the lodge you’ll find comfortable lounge areas with an attached kitchenette, allowing you to easily share refreshments with visiting loved ones. Our beautifully manicured gardens contain many areas for you to sit and socialise with family and friends or relax and enjoy a good book.

Vivian Bullwinkel Lodge is located within raafa’s Cambrai Village, in Merriwa. Your spouse, friends, and family can live close by you and reside at Cambrai Village’ Retirement Living units. You remain part of the friendly, connected community at Cambrai Village and have access to all the fantastic on-site amenities such as our licensed club, indoor pool, and our croquet and bowling greens.
