We know that those closest to you will always be your priority. When planning your Will, it is important to think about your family, friends, pets, and the charitable causes and organisations that have meant so much to you in your lifetime. Many people find that they can support their loved ones and the causes they care about by choosing a residual bequest. Put simply, this is a gift of all or a part of the residue of your estate after you have taken care of your loved ones and responsibilities.

Any amount you choose to give will be appreciated by RAAFA. With your support, RAAFA can continue to deliver its charitable and heritage programs ensuring our veterans are supported and honoured, our future leaders are empowered, and Australia’s proud aviation history is preserved.

Everyone’s individual circumstances and family situation is different. Therefore, it is important to seek independent legal advice that considers your circumstances and your wishes for your estate.

If you have already made your Will and now want to include raafa, we recommend you speak to a solicitor on how best to do this.

This is completely up to you and depends on your personal and financial circumstances. Some people that support raafa with gifts or donations to our programs may also include us in their Wills. For others, the gift in their Will is the only gift they make to RAAFA.
We would love to thank you personally for your thoughtful and generous decision to include raafa in your Will. We can also talk to you about how your gift may be used and how to stay updated on the work RAAFA is doing. However, we understand you may prefer not to receive these types of communications.

We know that circumstances sometimes change so if you want to change your mind about including raafa in your Will we completely respect your decision.
