Opening Doors for WA Veterans in Need

Australia’s veterans have served our nation with dedication, yet many face significant challenges when transitioning to civilian life, including securing stable housing. Our veteran housing services are designed to provide safe, supportive, and long-term accommodation for those in need. By taking a housing-first approach and delivering veteran-centric care, we empower veterans with the stability and resources they need to rebuild their lives. No veteran should be without a place to call home, and we are committed to ensuring they receive the respect, dignity, and support they deserve.

A Home for Veterans

In September 2024, raafa WA created Sir Valston Hancock House, Western Australia’s first targeted accommodation program designed to support local veterans.

Sir Valston Hancock House has accommodation capacity for 9 Veterans, and is intended to offer a short term solution for homeless Veterans to assist them to get back on their feet.

Sir Valston Hancock House has been made possible by Hancock Prospecting, who purchased the South Perth site in December 2023 and refurbished it into purpose-built accommodation to provide a safe haven for WA’s veterans.
